The present invention relates to a yarn carrier for a braiding machine. The yarn carrier for a braiding machine according to the present invention comprises: making a pivot hole of a housing identical to a pivot hole of a lever; fitting and fixing a fixing pin to the pivot holes to locate an actuating pin in the bottom of a pusher of the lever; installing one end of a bending pin in a bending pin guide rod; fixing the other end of the bending pin to a fixing hole of the lever; fixing a bobbin to a fixture of a yarn carrier to lock the rotation of the bobbin through a locking pin protruding from the top of a housing; allowing a yarn from the bobbin to pass through a moving roller in a U-shape to supply the yarn to the biased part of a braid; lifting up a moving block to move together with the bending pin; rotating the lever; pressing the actuating pin; releasing the locking pin from the bobbin to supply the yarn; applying tension to the yarn when the yarn is loosened using the tension of a restoring spring and the descent of the moving roller; and locking the rotation of the bobbin through the locking pin, thereby uniformly maintaining the tension of the yarn.
